Alex Hinx is a 26-year-old film and video editor based in London and Kent. He has worked in a variety of roles in film, television and web promos and has written and directed his own award-winning shorts.
After graduating from the University of Wales with a higher honours in Film and Television, in 2008, Alex gathered a broad range of industry experience, working as a runner, crew-member, location manager and short film director while developing his post-production skills through self-funded courses and work placements.
In 2010, he focussed on camera and post-production securing Apple-Certification in Final Cut Pro and in 2011 trained to Adobe-standard in After Effects. Alex has cut documentaries, short films, virals, promos and music videos to broadcast-level for the entertainment, music, education, charity and healthcare sectors.
